Div 5 2018 - School website

On Wednesday, the 2nd of May 2018, the Cumman na mBunscoil football competition qualifying round was on in Glencorrib Pitch. All the schools in the area came. We were in Division 5 with Ballycushion, Glencorrib and Partry. Our division didn't have to play until 12 o' clock so we didn't have to leave the school until 20 to 12. When we got there, there were alot of schools already at the pitch because they had been playing earlier in the day. We then went out onto the pitch and Mrs Gibbons and Ms Conroy warmed us up and did some drills with us. The girls team was Donna Mooney, Rebecca Flood, Caoimhe Cosgrove, Martha Burke, Mary Martyn, Saoirse Kelly, Shauna Burke and Dayna Murphy and the boys team was Daithi Owens, Oisin Whelan, Oliver Barrett, Dylan Murphy, Harry Smith, Shane Rodgers, Cathal Owens and Nathan Loughrey. The girls team was playing first and was playing Ballycushion. The boys team was also playing Ballycushion first. The girls then played Partry and then got a break. The boys played Glencorrib and then Partry straight away. After the girls break we played Glencorrib. The girls bet all the teams in Division 5 and got through to the next qualifying round but unfortunatly the boys lost all of their matches and didnt get through. Everyone had a great day !!
