School Work > STEM

STEM (Science, Technology, Enginneering and Maths) is a very important aspect of school life at Gortjordan N.S. During the school year 2018/2019 Gortjordan N.S. was awarded The Plaque of Excelence in STEM from Primary Science. Throughout the year the pupils took part in many STEM projects and in our gallery you can see the pupils hard at work.

Science Week - Mayo Science and Technology Festival

Two Science teams represented Gortjordan N.S. in this years Mayo Science and Technology challenge. This year the science challenge was to construct and design a bridge using 25 straws and masking tape. Congratulations to te team who won best overall design from Gortjordan N.S.
